Coaching Agreement

1. What This Coaching Is

I offer one-on-one writing coaching. This includes reading your submitted work, preparing written feedback, and meeting with you live to discuss your writing, your goals, and strategies for strengthening your skills.

2. What This Coaching Is Not

Coaching does not include copyediting, ghostwriting, fact-checking for publication, marketing support, help placing your work, or doing the writing for you in any capacity. It also does not include any legal, medical, or mental-health advice.

If you’re interested in hiring me separately for editorial or writing work, we can discuss that as a separate arrangement.

3. Your Writing & Intellectual Property

Your writing remains 100 percent yours.

Any revisions that I suggest or ideas that emerge from our work together are yours as well.

My materials — assessments, written notes, explanations, examples, or other coaching documents — are for your personal development only. Please don’t reproduce, publish, or distribute them without my permission.

4. Fees & Payment

You’ll see the fee for each session when you book it through your private scheduling link. Payment is collected at the time of booking.

If you purchase a multi-session package, the discount is automatically applied at checkout.

Rates and discounts for sessions may change over time, but never after you’ve already booked them.

5. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund or credit.

If something comes up inside the 24-hour window, just let me know — life happens — but I may not be able to offer a refund for last-minute cancellations.

If, for some unexpected reason, I need to reschedule, you’ll get priority for the next available session time.

6. Preparation & Submission

For consultations or sessions that require a writing sample, please send the sample by the requested time.

If I don’t receive it in time, I may not be able to prepare adequately, and we may need to reschedule the session.

7. Confidentiality

Your identity, your drafts, and anything we discuss remain private. I will never share your work without explicit permission.

I may discuss anonymized patterns in my coaching for teaching or illustrative purposes, but never your identity or your writing.

8. Results

I can help you become a stronger, clearer, more confident writer — but I can’t guarantee publication, grades, awards, jobs, fortune, fame, notoriety, or any other outcomes outside our sessions. Growth comes from consistent practice and engagement.

9. Refunds & Transferability

Because your spot represents reserved time on my schedule, sessions and packages are non-refundable once a session has begun.

Unused prepaid sessions do not expire.

If you have prepaid sessions remaining that you do not wish to use, you may transfer them to another person.

10. Agreement

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you’ve read and agree to the terms above.
